The problem

Without that number there is no way to know whether automating pays off, and there are cases where it does not — we say so.\n\nThen we choose the tool for the case, not out of habit. Simple flows with ready integrations sit well on Make. High volume, specific logic, or data that cannot leave your infrastructure call for self-hosted n8n.\n\nAnd we build in failure handling from the start. A flow that fails silently is worse than no flow at all, because nobody notices until it is too late.

What does it cost to keep flows running?

It depends on the tool and the volume, and we work it out before building. The billing model matters more than the price: charging per operation penalises long flows, and that is where invoices surprise people.

Can I change tool later?

You can, but there is no automatic import between platforms — it means rebuilding. That is why we keep business logic outside the tool where possible, which lowers the cost of switching.

What if the API on the other side changes?

It happens, and it is the main reason automation needs maintenance. The flows alert when they fail, which turns a silent breakage into a notification.
