Automated support with AI, within the law
The problem
The same question arrives dozens of times a week. Opening hours, availability, order status, prices. Someone answers every one by hand, and the ones arriving out of hours wait until the next day — by which point half have bought elsewhere.
How we work
The technical decision that governs everything comes first: the WhatsApp Business app has no API, and migrating a number to the Cloud API removes it from the phone with no way back. We settle that before writing code.\n\nThen we design around the 24-hour window. Outside it only Meta-approved templates can be sent, and approval takes time — so templates go in early, not the day before.\n\nThe language model goes where rules run out: classifying intent, extracting data from free text, rephrasing answers that already exist. Business logic stays in code, where it can be checked.\n\nAnd there is always a route to a human. A bot with no escape costs more customers than it converts.
What you get
- A bot in production on Meta's official Cloud API
- AI disclosure in the first message, in every language
- Message templates submitted and approved
- A tested handover to a human
- Conversation logs with a defined retention period
When this is not for you
At a handful of messages a day, a person answering is cheaper and answers better. And if most questions are specific rather than repeated, automating does not save time — it moves it. Counting the messages for a week settles the question before any money is spent.
Frequently asked
Do I have to disclose it is a bot?
Since 2 August 2026 the EU AI Act transparency obligations apply, and anyone interacting with an AI system has to be told. We always ship with the disclosure in the first message, in every language the bot speaks.
Can I use the number I already have?
You can migrate it, but it then stops working in the WhatsApp app — there is no simultaneous use. If your team answers from a phone on that number, you need a second one.
Will the bot make things up?
That is the real risk of letting a model answer without limits. So the scope is constrained, output is checked, and questions about price or deadlines go to a human rather than being generated.
